Australian Short Film Festival of Poop - 'We hunger for your poop.'

We’re tired of there being no place for crap on our screens. Drag that short film you did out of the toilet and send it this way. It stinks? That’s fine! We hope it’ll get a laugh. We’re not looking for the high budget movie stinkers like the one’s gracing our big screens right now, but the small budget poop that’s steaming its way out of your camera.

 

First Year

It's our first year running. Like diarrhea, we hope to make this an annual event!

 

Theme

Anything you like. Horror, action, comedy, romance, science fiction, thriller, musical, plain odd, bad taste, good taste - just try not to bore the judges. Make it entertaining crap. No budget required!

 

Cost

Free via online submission.

 

Dates

Entries NOW open for 2015!  Closes on 11th September 2015. No late entries accepted.

 

Length

If it’s less than 10 minutes, we want it. All crap welcome.

 

Judging

Judging will be by a panel of deviant judges. Films will be shortlisted and announced on the website. This is not a competition where you get all your friends to attend the screening and vote for your film. Tough crap. We'll judge your film - not your friends!

 

Screening

A screening in Melbourne during October for short listed entries only.  Further screenings will depend on demand.

 

Prizes

Still being worked on, but a guaranteed golden inscribed cow pat (please note, not real gold) will come the way of the winner. 2nd and 3rd place will receive similar trophies to mount in their toilet. More prizes to be announced. Don’t expect huge prizes, as we have yet to gain any sponsors. If you are a toilet paper distributor and wish to sponsor us, now’s your chance!
